Caracol TV and Miracol develop biopic of Chavela Vargas with Kate del Castillo in the lead role

Miracol, in partnership with Caracol Televisión, is developing a biopic about the life of iconic singer Chavela Vargas, one of the most unforgettable voices in Latin American music.

The talented Kate del Castillo, internationally recognized for her powerful performances, will bring Chavela to life in this production that promises to honor her artistic legacy, her courage, and her free spirit.

The story is written by Arantxa Echevarría, a renowned screenwriter and Goya-winning director, whose sensitivity and vision bring a unique depth to this narrative.
